Delete your account

Last updated 28 October 2026 · Applies to EpisoShort accounts on iOS and Android

Before you delete

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. To stop future charges, cancel it separately in your store settings. You can request account deletion even if your subscription is still active.

1. Delete in the app

The fastest route, available in every current version of the app:

  1. Open EpisoShort and go to Me.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Choose Delete account.
  4. Read the warning, tick the acknowledgement that your account and its data will be permanently removed, then confirm.

After the service confirms deletion, the app clears the current session. Deletion is permanent; records subject to legal retention duties or backup schedules may be removed later.

2. Delete by email

You can request deletion from this page without opening or reinstalling the app. Email contact@episoshort.cc with the subject Delete my account.

Include enough information for us to find the account:

  • your EpisoShort user ID or the email address bound to the account; if you used Apple Hide My Email, include the relay address if available;
  • your platform (iOS or Android) and, if you know it, your last app version;
  • any additional account-identifying information requested by support. A reason for deletion is optional; never send passwords, verification codes or payment-card information.

Email requests are typically processed within 3–5 business days after account ownership is verified. We confirm completion by email. We may ask a follow-up question if the account cannot be identified unambiguously — we will not delete an account on an unverified third-party request.

3. What is deleted

  • Your account identifier and profile, including display name, language and bound email address.
  • Watch history, progress, likes and saved series.
  • Coin balance, reward and check-in records, and membership status.
  • Push notification tokens associated with the account.
  • Your feedback submissions, once the related support case is closed.

4. What is kept, and why

A small amount of information is retained for a limited period after deletion, because we are required to keep it or because it is needed to resolve a dispute:

  • Purchase and transaction records — kept as long as accounting, tax and consumer-protection law requires, in a form that no longer supports marketing or profiling.
  • Fraud and abuse signals — limited identifiers kept to prevent a deleted account from being used to repeat reward abuse.
  • Aggregated statistics — counts of views and installs with no link back to you.

5. Manage subscriptions separately

Platform Where to cancel
iOS / iPadOS Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions → EpisoShort → Cancel Subscription
Android Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → EpisoShort → Cancel

Deleting an account removes access to its coin balance and membership benefits. If you have an outstanding purchase issue, keep a copy of your order ID so support can investigate. An active subscription or purchase issue does not prevent a deletion request. Applicable consumer rights and payment-provider refund rules continue to apply.

6. Guest accounts

Guest accounts also have records on our servers. Uninstalling the app or clearing its local data does not request deletion of those records, and may make the account harder to identify. Use the in-app deletion option before uninstalling. If you have already lost access, contact us with your user ID if available; never send passwords or verification codes.
